VP Hospital Financial Operations

As Vice President of Hospital Financial Operations, David Yackell is responsible for all hospital financial operations at CHC. He provides expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, revenue cycle performance metrics, forecasting and analysis, and productivity system implementation to help hospitals achieve and maintain the best financial performance possible. Additionally, David works closely with the Chief Financial Officers in all CHC-affiliated short-term acute care hospitals and manages the monthly operating report (MOR) process. David brings more than 30 years of hospital finance and leadership experience to the CHC team.

In addition to David’s current CHC appointment, he also supported CHC by lending his expertise in Revenue Cycle and Accounting in an interim role at Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Huntsville, Texas. Prior to this, David’s seasoned career includes a regional executive role at Ovation Healthcare (formerly QHR) in Brentwood, Tennessee, and Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In recent years, David’s executive leadership has included strategic planning, performance improvement and financial turnarounds at rural and suburban CAH and PPS facilities.

David is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
