SVP Human Resources

As Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Marybeth Moran is responsible for human resource services across CHC-managed, leased, and owned facilities, as well as human resource consulting services for CHC Consulting. Moran joined CHC in June 2025 as VP of HR for Short-Term Acute Care Hospitals.

With more than 30 years of experience, Moran possesses a strong background in human resources and operational leadership. Before joining CHC, she served as Hospital CEO at Oceans Healthcare in Lubbock, Texas, where she successfully opened Oceans Behavioral Health Hospital and managed all aspects of hospital operations, including human resources.

Her career also includes several other impactful leadership roles, including Division Director of Rural Hospitals for Bryan Health and Administrator for Women’s Services at Covenant Health. Additionally, Moran spent nine years at Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) in numerous executive capacities, including Hospital Administrator (CEO), Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development, and Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development.

Moran holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University. She is also completing her final year in the Texas A&M University School of Law program, pursuing an advanced degree focused on HR and Employment Law.
