Ron Franquiz
Vice President of Information Technology/Associate Security Officer
Ron Franquiz serves as Vice President of Information Technology/Associate Security Officer for CHC. In this role he has oversight of CHC Corporate, LTACH and Facility IT operations and projects, as well as, security program related activities. Ron also works with leadership to plan, implement and manage all corporate IT operational activities, shared service offerings and oversight of policies and programs which improve protection and reduce overall organizational security risk.
Ron brings 26 years of experience in the IT industry with more than 10 years in healthcare. Before joining CHC Ron spent the last five years as IT/IS Director and CIO at Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX. Previously, he was CIO/Division Manager for J-Quad & Associates in Dallas, and Director of Enterprise Application Services at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Prior to his healthcare experience, Ron was a Senior Consultant and Project Manager for MIS Resources International, Inc. in Roswell, GA after working for many years in programming and systems engineering positions at United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney in Georgia and Florida.
Ron has his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.
