Tammy Hartfield

VP Clinical and Regulatory Support

Tammy Hartfield serves as Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Support at CHC. In this role, she supports clinical, quality, productivity and regulatory compliance initiatives for CHC’s owned, managed and leased facilities. Tammy brings more than 30 years of nursing and clinical leadership experience to this role.

Tammy most recently served as Chief Clinical Officer at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange, TX where she previously worked as Chief Nursing Officer. Tammy was also an integral part of the hospital’s transition to deemed status with the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). She has leadership and front-line nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings including rehabilitation, medical/surgical, orthopedics, and cardiac telemetry.

Tammy received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Mary Hardin Baylor, Belton, TX and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, TX. She is also a Board-Certified Nursing Executive Advanced (NEA-BC), and holds Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP) and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certifications.
